Invitation to visit The South Tower at Wentworth Woodhouse

The Landmark Trust is delighted to invite members of the Lady Mabel Old Students Association to visit The South Tower at Wentworth Woodhouse on Saturday 7 March 2026.

You may have heard that building conservation charity the Landmark Trust are working with the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust to restore the South Tower and create a beautiful self-catering apartment for two people. We have just launched a fundraising appeal and if we can raise the needed funds, we hope to be on site this summer.

This is an exclusive opportunity to see inside the South Tower before our restoration project at this monumental Palladian mansion begins.  You will be able to tour the South Tower, learn more about the history of this part of this 18th century house and see how we hope to restore it using traditional craft skills. The South Tower doors will be open to visitors from 10.15am until 4pm but numbers are limited. It is free to visit the South Tower but places for the tours should be booked in advance.
